G'day,

I'm alive! Yes, after more than three years I have returned to update my webpages. Talk about slow... I guess you're safe if you don't ask me for anything you need in a hurry.

It doesn't necessarily feel "good" to be back here again. Cringing isn't something most people enjoy, and I'm one of them (the most people...). I registered a domain or two and basically haven't done anything with them for a couple of years. Sure, they've come in handy for mail aliases, but I've not had any pages you're dog wouldn't throw up on. I mean, what is the point of having a domain if you haven't anything there to show anyone? Of course the first thing they want to know is what you have there, any they usually aren't impressed when you tell them there is basically a page of text - a big list of useless words at that. Okay, I've noticed I'm rambling. I'll stop.

Anyhow, I thought I'd spruce up my old site a bit so I have something to show (off). Not that it is anything spectacular by today's standards. I had a read through the old guestbook entries and felt kind of proud. I suppose the fact that my GeoCities site (since taken over by Yahoo) is still intact after more than two years of inactivity on my part shows someone out there must appreciate the effort I made at the time. So much has changed though, and almost everything is out of date. Least of all my taste in music, so many people might think. Let them, I say. Ah-ha.

Well, it's time to get a move on - these pages aren't going to update themselves, you know. I've started by ripping out the old Geocities ad-banners, minor HTML-source alterations, and a few updates/additions, such as this little letter, and removing email addresses (damn spam).

Before I go, I'd like to give a big shout out to all of my friends, both real and imagined. Even though I don't get to see you very often, having known you brings me comfort.

Hey all,

Once again that time has come when I'va ctually DONE somehting remotely webby... This time I've been up all night picking my brain about some parties I've had... someone asked if I had a page up for the party I had a couple of nights ago (asked in the wee hours of his morning) and said they'd put a link to it or something), and things started from there.

Next on the agenda is to create a new page for photographs... I got some photos scanned on Boxing Day ('97), so I suppose now there is no excuse for me not having them up... And since I have had many people ask me, yes, the picture to the right of this IS of me. It was taken at judge's birthday party at the Henry The Ninth in April '96, so it is a little old now. Still, it was the best (scanned) photo I had of myself (someone said I looked like a rockstar - I was chuffed).

Hmm... I still need to redo the Friends page, and the Links is all but dead... Hmm... I'll see if i can find some good links first. *grin*
